Colonial/National Bank

The Colonial Bank came to Morwell in 1884 and built the existing building in 1888 with Mr Henry McIntosh as manager.

In 1918 the bank became the National Bank of Australasia.

In 1973 after the bank had closed, Mr Ron Ambrose purchased the building.

The building was at one stage occupied by Rennick and Gaynor Solicitors in the 1980s.

Richard Horseman started his practice here and was known as Horseman Sim P/L, Lawyers & Conveyancers in May 2021 changed to Prior Law incorporating Horseman Sim Pty. Ltd.
